About Stickman Hook

Stickman Hook is a wildly popular physics-based arcade game created by Madbox. Take control of a stickman swinging through obstacle-filled levels using a grappling hook like Spider-Man. You finish a level when you reach the finish line. The game is fast-paced and simple to play, requiring perfect timing and precision to progress through increasingly tougher levels.

Stickman Hook Gameplay: Swing, Bounce, and Soar

Swinging and bouncing are the only ways to reach the finish line and complete the level. Regardless of the level you are playing on, the main goal is to get the stickman character to the finish line by hooking onto fixed points in the air and swinging through the level without falling. Bouncing on bounce pads also helps you regain momentum and boost you across tricky gaps.

The game includes over 100 increasingly harder levels, each with unique layouts and hook placement. Try to reach the finish line to beat the level and unlock the upcoming one. Stickman Hook is playable on desktop, tablet, or mobile, with no downloads or installs needed.

How to play Stickman Hook: Don’t fall off the screen

To reach the end of a level, you need to hook and swing across the air and/or land safely on the bounce pads to continue the move. Falling off the screen means you have to restart the level. 

Here are further details on how to swing and reach the finish line:

  • Tap or click to hook and latch onto anchor points. Keep holding to build momentum and swing across gaps and platforms. Release to let go at the peak of your swing to fly forward and reach the next hook or bounce pad. 
  • Do not need to use every hook; skip ones that affect your momentum. Keep in mind that falling and bouncing sometimes is faster than hooking everything.
  • Reach the finish line by bouncing and swinging your way to the end of multiple levels.
  • Timing is always key. Remember, bad timing can ruin your flow. Practice more to master the control and find the best rhythm for your 
  • Retry if your character falls off the screen. Or, sometimes, when you find it has no hope of completing the level, simply give it up and retry for a fresh restart.

Game controls:

  • Tap the screen (on mobile) or use the left mouse button or spacebar (on PC) to swing.
  • Release to let go.
